I am a Commonwealth Authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant, Hobart born and lived here all of my life.  I have been married for over 40 years and have been blessed with a wonderful family and have experienced many of life’s loves and losses. 

I am a retired public servant with a background in building design for people with a disability. I am also an access auditor conducting my own practice on a part-time basis. I have had extensive involvement with community groups and professional organisations in the course of my career. I have a developed skill in communicating with people at all levels gaining a clear understanding of their issues and wishes. I am able to assist in helping people to understand process, explain regulation – both written and intent. My wish is to be invited to provide celebrant services to families in the recognition and celebration of their loved one’s life with family and friends. I do sincerely trust you can see an opportunity within the service delivery of your organisation for me to be of help in making the celebration of a life the best it can be. Pricing policy

Wedding Ceremony

For a full wedding ceremony my fee will be $600 for celebrations in or around the Hobart area.  My fee will include all that is required under the Australian Marriage Act 1961, meetings and discussions as required and unlimited telephone conversations.

Should we be traveling somewhere wonderful and exotic, then the cost of any special travel arrangements required in order for me to provide my services will be in addition.  Travel outside of the Hobart area may also attract additional costs.

Additional charges may also be made for any special requirements outside of those of the Australian Marriage Act 1961.

Refund policy

I understand that sometimes things don’t always work out the way that we plan. On the slim chance that we can’t work out a satisfactory solution, my refund policy is:

·        A full refund of my initial fee for service if cancellation is received 30 days prior to the date of the ceremony;
·        Refund of additional costs will be subject to the refund policies of any third party.
